Editor's Review & How To Play
"Hitman: Sniper" is a 2015 shooting range video game produced by Square Enix Montreal. The player acts as the protagonist of the series 47, assassinating several important people through the first-person sniper vision on the touch screen. Important people gather with a group of colleagues in the lakeside compound; players need to cleverly use environmental characteristics and secondary tasks to find assassination methods. As the mission progresses, players can unlock more powerful weapons and new weapon skills.
The game was unveiled at the press conference of the 2014 E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo. It was originally an extended version of a promotional mini game of Square Enix’s 2012 game "Hitman: Absolution". After testing in Canada, Square Enix officially released the version for Android and iOS platforms on June 4, 2015, and received widespread praise. Some critics praised its simple and ingenious level design, and some criticized its activity scene for too single. In the free update, Square Enix has added a zombie survival game mode, new weapons and Halloween themes. One year after its release, "Hitman: Sniper" is still Square Enix Montreal's largest source of income, and helped fund the studio's more widely known "Hitman: Go" series of games.
In the game, the player plays the protagonist of the "Hitman" series, the standard Assassin Assassin 47, and assassinates important people who meet in three high-end riverside villas in Montenegro.
The game is a shooting range game presented from the perspective of a first-person sniper scope, so Killer 47 is not easy to suffer a counterattack, but if the target finds that the target is planning to leave the house, the mission is declared a failure. Players need to secretly kill targets one by one to prevent alerting other people in the villa. Players can try to kill the target in different ways. For example, when the target is leaning on the glass fence of the balcony, the glass can be shot to pieces, so that the target loses its support and falls to the ground to death, so there is no need to directly kill the target. Other tricks include triggering a car alarm to distract guards, turning on a fan to blow the target off a cliff, and throwing the target directly into the jacuzzi. Players can zoom in on the rifle scope by pressing and holding the touch screen of the device, and clicking the marking will fire. The "load" button on the screen will initiate a quick response event, and the player needs to slide the screen to load the gun.
The main goal of the level is to kill an important person (a total of 10), and there are also secondary targets such as killing the target with a specified trick (such as a specific trap or headshot to kill a moving target) within a limited time.
With the development of the game, players continue to unlock new weapons and weapon abilities. These upgrade skills can be exchanged for points gained through successful technical goals, leaderboard rankings and "blue drawings" collected by the goals. Time and enemies on the display screen. Players can also use the micro-transaction system to purchase currency in the game, skip the game progress directly, and automatically unlock more advanced weapons.
